Bethany Beach has just about any type of food you want and a lot of it is really good. Some of it isn't. Below is a list of all of our favorite places.
breakfast
PENGUIN DINER
The perfect place to go first thing in the morning for some bacon and eggs or a lobster grilled cheese. Great for families with small kids.
lunch
HEIDAWAY
Small cafe with healthy mix of options. Friendly staff. Small inside and a few tables out front. Right off boardwalk. Great option for those who want lunch and have some healthier options.
dinner
BETHANY BLUES
The heart of Bethany restaurants. Great brisket, drinks, service, prices. The menu is phenomenal and the chili is something we order every time. It doesn't get any better. Fabulous place to eat and relax.
BLUE COAST
Always phenomenal and a go-to whenever we are here. The best seafood and preparations on the whole coast. Go at sunset and sit out back- however, the dining room is really nice as well.
BLUE CRAB
Always easy, always fast, always good. This is a great, close, place to go for seafood. Their cream of crab soup is worth the trip by itself. They are open for lunch as well.
CAPTAIN MACKS
This is where you should go for seafood. Its a 20 minute drive, but absolutely worth it. If you plan is to have a crab feast while you are in town this is the place to do it. Picnic tables overlooking the bay leads to great sunsets and amazing views.
DIFEBO'S
The place for handmade pasta and homemade meatballs. Italian food perfect for the whole family. The Cavatelli Bolognese is especially good and something that we highly recommend.
OFF THE HOOK
The best kind of high end American fare. Short Ribs, shrimp & grits, soup & spicy shrimp and all highly recommended and they usually have half price bottles of wine on Saturday nights.
PIE
Pretty good brick oven pizza. The ingredients are all fresh and different. Great service and the ability to build your own pizzas. Lots of different options. They are always ready with the carry out exactly when they say they will be.
